Short version: we collect very little, we sell nothing, and we delete on request.

What we collect

We collect your email address if you choose to subscribe to the newsletter, and aggregated pageview data. We do not require an account to read the site. We do not run cross-site fingerprinting or sell personal data to third parties.

How we use it

Your email is used only to send the newsletter you requested. We do not rent or share it. Unsubscribe takes one click from any email, and your address is removed from the active list promptly.

Cookies and analytics

We use the minimum cookies needed for the site to function and, where enabled, aggregate analytics that do not identify you personally. You can block cookies in your browser without losing access to the articles. Some embedded media may set its own cookies if you choose to play it.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold, request a copy, correct it or ask for deletion. Email [email protected] and we will respond within seven days. If a request is unclear, we will ask for the minimum information needed to locate your record.

Retention

Newsletter records are kept while your subscription is active and for a short period afterwards to honour unsubscribe requests. Server logs are rotated on a fixed schedule. We do not keep data longer than we need it.
