How to file a notice

Email [email protected] with the subject line DMCA NOTICE. Include the exact URL of the page, a description of the copyrighted work, proof that you own or represent the rights, and your contact details. Notices without enough detail take longer to process.

What happens next

We review every complete notice within three working days. When the claim is solid, we remove or restrict the material while we investigate. We notify the person who supplied it and keep a record of the complaint and our response.

Counter notices

If your material was removed and you believe the removal was wrong, send a counter notice with your name, address, a description of the material and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the relevant court. We may restore the material within ten working days unless the original complainant files an action.

Repeat infringement

Accounts or contributors who repeatedly upload infringing material may be restricted or removed. We apply the same standard to text, images, audio and video, including material supplied by freelance contributors.
